About Me

Hi, I’m Nikki — the Owner and Photographer behind Nikki Foster Photography. I was born and raised in California and am now proudly based in the beautiful state capital of Sacramento!

My love for photography started back in high school when I would borrow my parents’ simple point-and-shoot camera and capture anything that caught my eye. By my senior year, I was enrolled in a photography class, and from that point forward, I knew this was more than just a hobby — it was my passion.

Since 2016, I’ve continued to study and grow as a photographer, investing in my craft, my business, and in learning from other incredible creatives. I’ve had the joy of participating in styled shoots, model calls, and countless sessions that have helped me evolve into the photographer I am today.

Alongside running my photography business, I also work full-time for a wonderful nonprofit organization here in Sacramento. Balancing both roles has been an incredible journey that continually fuels my creativity and drive.

When people ask, “If you followed your childhood dream, what would you be doing today?” — I’m proud to say I’m living that dream every single day. Photography allows me to capture real, meaningful moments that my clients can treasure for a lifetime — and that’s something I’ll never take for granted.
